Block item, item variant or service item from use in service management transaction:
1.Meaning, if you want to restrict the availability of some item due to limited stock or discontinued of support, then this functionality will be helpful.
2.Field called Service Blockedtoggle on the Item Card, Item Variants, and Item Variant Card
3.Block a service item
To block the service item on the service item card page there are 2 options:
1. Service contract: To block the item in service contract and service contracts quotes but not in the other service documents like service orders.
2. All: This option will block items being used in all the service transactions which includes service orders, service contracts and other service documents
